These terms describe the Renarrator account and subscription service at renarrator.com. Contact the Renarrator publisher at support@renarrator.com for service, billing, or privacy questions.

What the subscription includes

Renarrator provides replacement narration for compatible videos in desktop Chrome. An active subscription provides unlimited local AI narration and access to optional voices using your own provider keys, with up to three activated devices. Internet access is needed for sign-in, first model downloads, and periodic subscription checks.

Trial and free voices

Computer voices are free and do not require a Renarrator account. A verified email account is eligible for one 30-minute trial of played AI narration. The balance is stored on the server and resumes when you sign in to the same account. The trial has no payment-card requirement and does not automatically become a paid subscription.

Price, renewal, and cancellation

The monthly plan is USD $9.99, plus applicable taxes shown at checkout. It renews monthly until canceled. Lemon Squeezy handles checkout, receipts, and billing as merchant of record, under its buyer terms.

Cancel future renewals using your receipt or customer portal before your next billing date. Access continues through the current paid period. Removing the extension or a license activation does not cancel the subscription. Our refund policy covers the first payment.

Optional providers

Your own Google, OpenAI, or ElevenLabs account pays for any cloud narration. Renarrator does not sell or include those providers’ speech credits. You are responsible for using provider keys you are authorized to use and following that provider’s terms.

Compatibility and appropriate use

Captioned videos work best. Website restrictions, captions, model availability, and computer performance affect results. Captions and transcriptions can contain errors that will be read aloud. Replacement narration mutes the original audio, including music and sound effects. Use the trial to check your usual videos before subscribing.

Use Renarrator only with content you are permitted to access. Keep account codes, license keys, and provider keys secure. Do not interfere with the account service or use it to send unsolicited email.

Software licenses

The extension and its included components are governed by their applicable open-source licenses. Nothing in these service terms restricts rights granted under those licenses, including rights under the GNU General Public License. Subscription billing and the hosted account service are separate from those software-license rights.

Privacy and changes

Our privacy notice describes local processing, account records, and providers. The date above identifies this version of the terms. Any change to your subscription price or billing terms will be communicated before it takes effect; these terms do not remove rights provided by applicable law.
